story moves quickly in an interesting and unique area of the sea conflict of WWI. an area with very little attention and deserves more. he covers the facts and the details well but leaves out a personal touch which would make his story more compelling are ignored.
I was really hooked into this series! Then I came to the end of this book and found it was the last of the series and the author passed away in 2005! This leaves the reader with many unanswered questions!

Is there a number 9? If not, it has been a great experience reading 1-8. Wolz is the best of the fiction submariners, bar none. Bulmer/Krauss has been masterful in keeping each book fresh with new characters for Wolz to interact with in a way only he can do it.
